Artist's Thoughts

July 22, 2010

We are still swimming in the Rio Grande almost every day. It's not quite as cold and the currents are a bit calmer than they were in June. We are hoping the Monsoons begin and pour rain down on all of us.

Some Gallery News: We had our Gallery Opening last weekend and had a wonderful turnout. Featured on the back wall of my section of the space are three new monochromatic paintings. Two are now posted on the website.
It is a new series that I'm excited about and am continuing to explore.
(They're posted on p.2 of my Paintings page: "Untitled" & "Cracking Through to Spring.")

This show will be up until August 14th: Sacred Places: Abstract & Narrative Paintings & Prints by Carla O'Neal, Pierre Delattre and Nancy Ortenstone.
